About me

Bulan is the oldest of our two girls, at around 7 years old. She came to us as a baby and her name has a special meaning. When she was a baby, she had a white, moon shaped patch under her chin. Paul asked a malayan lady, whom he met when out with the owls, what “moon” was in Malayan and she replied “Bulan”. Bulan is a sweet but independent girl, and although she has been known to give out kisses to humans, she did not want to be friends with Inda, our other Asian Brown Wood Owl.
